Carla Gina Rubeo (b.1989, Montreal, Canada) is an image recycler. She selects images from magazines and advertisements; through the process of collage she creates narratives based on social issues such as identity, sexuality, body image and feminism.
" I'm interested in the viewers perception and interpretation of these images once they are deconstructed and reshuffled, and how our location, political and religious views influences the way we see the world. "
